Were here for lunch. The food took a bit, but was quite good in taste and the portions were sufficient. The cook also came to the table and asked if everything was right. We sat in the beer garden, since there was nice weather. Well maintained this beer garden was not. The hedge was not cut, tables were criss-crossed, weeds came in large quantities through the gravel. Food was good, priced if, ambience and care would be better.

As every year, we returned to our visit to the beautiful Hirschbachtal in the "Mittelbergwand": very well-made salad, then bundle with sauce and Klos - great. Chapeau, that the historic tavern lives on. Thanks to the new host.

Friendly welcome, prompt service, tender Rösches Schäuferla with great dumpling and real gravy, a wonderful mixed mixed salad and an excellent beer. What does Franke want more when he comes from hiking? So 5 stars or short: passd fei wergli

So I imagine a Franconian inn: delicious food, good beer (both at very fair prices), a rustic host and the most beautiful valley of Hersbrucker Switzerland. We were twelfth and all the same opinion ...

Today was the first time to eat there. Very nice welcome, the boss cooks himself, the food schnitzel with french fries and salad is very tasty. We'll be back, highly recommended!

cozy, typically Franconian pub; very nice host, who can tell a lot about the history of the inn; the Schäuferle are very tasty, the sauce is homemade (no powder sauce!) :-)

I can only recommend the inn. After a via ferrata tour, perfect for sitting in the sun and drinking a free beer as a woman.

Hearty inn with a great rustic menu. From Cordon Bleu to sausages with cabbage (extremely good) to the super snack plate, you will find everything your heart desires. On Sundays and public holidays there are also delicious Franconian roasts. It is very special that there are Arabic dishes here. One of the kitchen team is probably cooking treats from home. The landlord was happy to have a chat and so we found out that groups of 10 or more people can also open on other days. Outside there is a beautiful garden with a small sandpit. The guest rooms are rustically and comfortably furnished. Definitely worth a stop for excursions or as a resting place on a hike in the Hirschbach Valley!
